In less than two weeks, the slow, track-by-track rollout of songs from King of Denmark’s new EP will be complete, but here’s a chance to see the Tampa rock band play some of Looking Out On Nowhere (where rhythm tracks were tracked analog before the sounds were mastered by the steady ear of Frank Calcaterra in real life.) Phillip Zed (like the screw, get it?) brings its 25-year tenure in the Tampa scene to open the show alongside noisecore trio Path of Increased Indifference.
Phillip Zed w/King of Denmark/Path Of Increased Indifference/Ariose. Fri., Aug. 2, 7 p.m. $5-$8. Brass Mug, Tampa. INFO.
